The attack happened in Albany’s Arbor Hill neighborhood, on North Pearl Street near Wilson Street, at around 5:40 p.m. Monday, July 22.
Albany Police said officers arrived to find a 46-year-old woman suffering from stab wounds to her arm and leg. She was taken to Albany Medical Center Hospital where she remains in stable condition.
No suspects had been arrested as of Tuesday afternoon, July 23.
It was not immediately clear whether the victim knows her attacker or what led up to the incident.
